The volunteers of Station 11 have been working around the clock since Friday 2/5/10 with assisting the community during this state emergency. The Red Cross set up a Warming Shelter at the fire department/boro building for those in need.  The Warming shelter eventually turned into a full shelter.  There have been mulitple emergency calls.  The members have also made sure that those who did not have any transportation were picked up and brought to the shelter.  The fire department has been staffed 24 hours a day during this emergency.  The members of the fire department are proud to be able to assist those in their time of need.  And we would also like to thank the members of the Red Cross for the wonderful job that they have done.  A special thanks goes out to all the members of the fire department for volunteering their time to make sure that the public is safe.  And we would especially like to thank Wayne Hite and his family for the great job that they have done in helping with everything!!!!!!
